TheV-8 offers an expanded visual experience and is the natural evolutionof the legendary V-4 FourChannel Video Mixer. Theinternal processing of the V-8 is 4:2:2 full-frame digital. More than500 lines of video resolution ensure very high image quality afterdigital processing and mixing

Directinput of computer signal

TheV-8 has a built-in scan converter, providing direct input of RGBsignals (VGA - UXGA) from two D-Sub terminals on the rear panel. Withthe selector switch located on the top panel, you can select betweentwo computer sources. Using the luminance key or chroma key, enableslogos or text from your computer to be keyed over background videoenabling the display of lyrics, bottom thirds, and announcementsIntegrating computer graphics and visual applications with videosources has never been easier

Newvideo filters and numerous transitions

Allyour favorite effects like colorize and negative are included, alongwith newly added effects like feedback, afterimage, emboss, find edgeand more. Composite two images with Picture-in-Picture and Luminanceor Chroma keying. Customize your transitions between the A and B buswith multiple flavors of simple mix, hard or soft wipes, and theall-new stretch and slide transitions

Independentfaders on each bus as well as master output

Fadersare independently equipped for both A/B buses allowing you to createa video fade on just one bus or adjust the various video effectsparameters. The master fader control is a slider bar enabling quickand intuitive operation while working on the fly

Nextgeneration V-LINK control enables audio-follow

TheV-8 can be remote controlled from the Roland PR series videopresenters as well as the V-4. The V-8 can also send remote controlsignals to the new generation of Roland's digital audio mixer, theM-400 or M-380 V-Mixer . The motorized faders of the M-400automatically follow the video switching of the V-8. Now you can haveyour audio sources follow your video sources without the need tomanually control two mixers at once
